Community Center

An aquatic center with three pools.  A full-size basketball court with an overhead running track.  A fitness center with modern exercise machines.  Two golf simulators.  Dance and art studios, a youth activity room and a community room.  Men’s, women’s and family locker rooms.  A café and a large space for group meetings.  This is our Community Center.

Also part of the YPCC complex is Raritan Rapids.  This large, pirate-themed spray park has two open flume water slides, two spray cannons, a deck geyser and a large supersplash bucket connected to a ship’s bow surrounded by hose sprayers and arches.  The spray park is in the northwest corner of the Community Center lot and nicely complements its indoor, three-pool aquatic center.



The YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge & South Amboy (MEWSA) has been selected to manage the Community Center so YMCA officials will be in charge of its daily operations.  The YPCC is located at 520 Hoes Lane just south of the Kennedy Library branch.
