PISCATAWAY TOWNSHIP MEALS ON WHEELS
This is a home delivered meal program that delivers one nutritious meal at noon, Monday through Friday to those whose physical, mental, or social conditions preclude them from preparing adequate meals for themselves. It is funded through a grant from the Middlesex County Department On Aging. We serve Piscataway residents who are homebound and 60 years of age or older. The suggested donation amount for this program is $2.75 a day per meal but there is a sliding fee scale based on one's ability to pay. A home evaluation is done for each client to determine their eligibility and client status. Referrals are made to other area agencies based on client's needs. Our program is able to serve 50 clients. If you know of someone who would benefit from this program, please call the Piscataway Senior Center at 732-743-9844.
