POP WARNER FEBRUARY 2, 2017 BANQUET

Good Afternoon,

There will be an additional day scheduled to pick up complimentary banquet tickets and to purchase tickets.  Please see below.

You can pick up your complimentary ticket in the Recreation Office at 455 Hoes Lane (Municipal Bldg) on:

 

​SATURDAY JANUARY 21, 2017 - BETWEEN 11:00 AM AND 1:00 PM

 

As stated in previous notice, tickets purchased after January 14th, will be $45

 

Should any parents, relatives, friends, etc., like to attend the banquet, tickets may be purchased at the cost of $45.00 per person (regardless of age).

 

NO CHECKS!  PAYMENT BY CASH OR MONEY ORDER ONLY, PAYABLE TO THE POP WARNER PARENTS AUXILIARY (PWPA).  

Tickets will NOT be available at the door on the night of the banquet, and minors will NOT be allowed to enter unless they are accompanied by an adult.  NO EXCEPTIONS. 

 

Dear Pop Warner Football Players and Cheerleaders,

The Annual Piscataway Braves Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading Banquet will be held at The Pines Manor, 2085 Highway 27, Edison, New Jersey, on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 6:00 p.m.  To be eligible for a complimentary banquet ticket, all players must have met all of the following conditions: 

            (1) Have completed the entire season,

            (2) Have returned all uniforms and equipment on time, and

            (3) Have participated in the Parent’s Auxiliary fundraiser. 

If you have met all of these conditions, you can pick up your complimentary ticket in the Recreation Office at 455 Hoes Lane (Municipal Bldg) on:

 

Dear Parent/Guardian:

The Piscataway Recreation Department will recognize scholar-athlete award winners at the Piscataway Braves Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading banquet on Thursday, February 2, 2017.  To be eligible for scholar-athlete recognition, the child must have received all A’s or B’s during the first marking period of the 2016/2017 school year.  This is the marking period that ran concurrently with the Pop Warner season. Midget scholar-athletes will receive a plaque while all other scholar-athletes will receive a scholar athlete certificate.

Anyone who has earned all A’s or B’s must submit a copy of their first marking period report card to the Recreation Office no later than Saturday, January 21, 2017; no photocopy will be made in the Recreation office, NO EXCEPTION.  To be eligible for the scholar-athlete recognition, all of the first marking period grades must be A’s or B’s.

IMPORTANT  - DO NOT SUBMIT ANY REPORT CARD AFTER SATURDAY, JANUARY 21, 2017.  IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND CONSIDERED.

NOTE:  You can submit your child’s report card on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the recreation when picking us your banquet ticket(s).  


 

The design of the Piscataway Township Recreation Department is to encourage creative expression and physical activity that engage young and mature participants. 

By offeringchildren's arts and crafts, youth baseball and basketball, cheering, football, gym hockey, martial arts, adult softball, tennis, co-ed volleyball, walking/jogging club, wrestling, picnicking, twenty-six parks to stroll, and, if that's not enough, an Annual July 4th celebration and fireworks spectacular Recreation is "Creating Community Through People, Parks, and Playgrounds".  Come be a part of the Piscataway community and see what all the fun is about.
