The Division of Planning is overseen by a Licensed Professional Planner as required by statute. The Division is responsible for accepting, processing, and scheduling all Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment applications in addition to preparing staff reports.  The Division is also responsible for developing and amending the Township’s Master Plan and proposing zoning changes.  These activities are primarily conducted by a licensed professional planner.  All aspects of the Township’s Affordable Housing Program are overseen by the Planning Division. 

The Planning Division also applies for grants offered by the State and County and prepares bid specifications for various projects.
