Animal Control
The following is a list of Animal Control Services offered by the Township Health Department:
- Animal nuisance complaint investigations and inquiries
- Investigation of animal bites
- Quarantining and releasing animals involved in bites
- Picking up injured / dead animals
- Picking up trapped animals from residents
- Rabies control / clinics
- Picking up stray animals
- Transportation of injured animals to animal hospital
- Cruelty to animals complaint investigations
- Arrange for transportation of specimens to State Health Department Laboratory for rabies testing
- Enforcement of ordinances / laws relating to animal control
- Animal education program for the elementary schools
